As Manager of Technical Services, a few of my duties include:
- Developing engineering models of our system. These models help us evaluate the overall health of our system and plan for growth and expansion, which ultimately helps us provide the best possible service for the membership.
- Developing protective coordination studies of our system. These studies help us develop schemes that define proper coordination between the many protective devices on our system. Proper coordination ensures that outages are confined to the smallest areas possible.
- Operating our TWACS AMR system. Our Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system allows us to communicate with meters from our office. This system provides us with daily and hourly usage data as well as on-request reading capability. This system will also assist us in outage management and restoration.
