Each summer Glacier Electric Cooperative sponsors two students to attend the Electric Cooperative Washington D.C. Youth Tour. This week long all-expense paid trip to D.C. helps our local students learn more about not only the history of our great nation, but also how our political system functions today. The youth tour is a wonderful opportunity for our young leaders to bring home knowledge and a broader world-view to help improve our own community. Students are chosen to attend the youth tour based on their application and essay. Each year a specific essay topic is chosen for all applicants. Applications are available each fall in the Glacier Electric offices, on this webpage and at Cut Bank, Browning, and Heart Butte High Schools.
