Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)

LIEAP is a federally funded program that is administered through the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC). Members who qualify, based on income, receive assistance in the form of a credit to the provider of the primary home heating source. If a member's primary heating source is electricity, and they qualify for the program, LIEAP will make payments to Glacier Electric to help cover their heating costs.​

Glacier Electric Crisis Fund 
Crisis Committee (406) 873-5566 
Glacier Electric sponsors and administers the Glacier Electric Energy Crisis Program each year. This fund offers assistance to members who are in a documented financial crisis. Members may receive assistance from this fund only one time per calendar year. Funds are expended based on application and documentation of crisis on a first come first served basis.
